Personalised Care and Personal Health Budgets – New e-learning Module

We are very happy to present you our new e-learning tool developed in partnership with the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).

It provides general awareness of the aims of the personalised care approach, with a particular focus on enabling personal health budgets. It is an important aid to those implementing and developing their plans in the context of Universal Personalised Care.

This is CPD accredited, free and available now to all NHS staff through ESR.

Anyone who has a ESR account can access it, just search for ‘Personal Health Budgets’ under My learning, and enrol onto the module.

Practice Support

This free online course explores the issue of compassionate care in relation to key points from investigations of high-profile incidents of mistreatment and theoretical perspectives. This includes the need to create a common, person-centred culture across organisations that extends beyond patients to the way organisations treat staff and the culture within the organisation itself. The course is co-funded by the Health Foundation and the Scottish Funding Council, Chief Scientist Office and NHS Education for Scotland
